本文所有安装配置步骤在 RHEL 5.8 版本完成。
2 安装步骤
2.1 上传安装介质
上传安装介质：
EMCPower.LINUX.6.0.GA.b158.tar.gz
由于后续该文件解压缩后，会生成多个文件，建议将安装介质存放在单独目录下，以便于识 别文件及安装。
2.2 解压缩安装介质
gunzip EMCPower.LINUX.6.0.GA.b158.tar.gz
tar -xvf EMCPower.LINUX.6.0.GA.b158.tar
解压缩后文件如下
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.OL5.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.OL6.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.OL7.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.RHEL5.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.RHEL6.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.RHEL7.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.SLES10SP4.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.SLES11SP3.x86_64.rpm
EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.SLES12.x86_64.rpm
可以看出该安装介质包含多个 linux 版本的安装文件。需要选择相应的版本进行安装。
2.3 软件安装
rpm -ivh EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.RHEL5.x86_64.rpm
安装输出示例如下：
rac01:root]:/install/powerpath>rpm -ivh EMCPower.LINUX-6.0.0.00.00-158.RHEL5.x86_64.rpm

NOTE:License registration is not required to manage the CLARiiON AX series array.
*** IMPORTANT ***
Please check the following configurations before starting PowerPath:
- Add _netdev to /etc/fstab mount options for PowerPath pseudo devices.
- Ensure netfs service is started.
netfs service is needed to mount devices with _netdev option.
- Set LVM filter in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf according to PowerPath recommendation.
- Blacklist all devices in /etc/multipath.conf and stop multipathd service.
- Install PowerPath license(s) and ensure that policy is not set to BasicFailover.
- If no license is available, ensure that only one HBA port is active in the host.
PowerPath supports only single-HBA configuration when unlicensed.
Refer to PowerPath Installation and Administration Guide for details.

2.4 注册 licesse
emcpreg –install
输入 license
2.5 启动 powerpath
/etc/init.d/PowerPath start
2.6 重启操作系统
